    Wood looks nice too.

  5. Very nice, I've got a little woodworking side business building some custom hutches & stuff, Cherry is beautiful, just remember that it darkens with age so just clear it but dont use any stain!!!!

UV Clear would be a good idea.

Make sure you do both sides.

Just a word about putting clear over the wood.

    Take a very wet rag,
Take a hot iron, like for ironing clothes.
    Take your time.

First, wet the wood down one side at a time with the rag.
Second, go over the wet wood with the iron till its dry. This will raise the grain,
Third, sand the grain down smooth, 320 grit, then 400, its now ready to clear coat.

If you do this, when you apply your clear it will lay down nice and the grain wont swell, so you get a slick clear coat.

The white fender threw me off. Three wheelers (and '80s honda 4-wheelers) are my "other" weakness. I've got an '85 250 sx... '82 big red..'83 atc70.. '86 trx200sx.. '85 trx125... yamaha 225dx "barn find".. still looking for a good 200x though.

Nice. Cherry does darken and mellow beautifully, if you like in now, wait a couple of years! I'm considering cherry for the bed floor in my Diamond T pickup, but I have a black walnut log I'm going to have sawn up, that would make a pretty wild looking bed floor too. Either one will be to pretty to put anything on...:(
