I know there's quite few '63 to '65 Riviera lovers and owners on this board. So I thought it I would share this beautiful ride with you guys tonight. This Riv first appeared at the '05 Pile Up in October. Ironically the car was displayed along with a gaggle of gorgeous early SuperStock Mopars and was loaded up in the same enclosed trailer as the Mopars when the show broke up at this years Chicago WoW. Please enjoy the pics and use your save button often. Not to mention, this ought to help the argument that early '60's cars look good with WWW's. I can't imagine this car with thin whites. Joel
Very Nice, I really like the fade paint and the highlighted edges of the body lines. The white walls do make the car, I think black tires wouldn't pop as well against the blue. Those buicks are really cool, any shots of the interior, I think the back seats with that center console is the shit!
amazing paint .... very subtle and very tasteful ..... i do not agree that the www look good but that is just my opinion .... single or double pinner whites would have completed the look .... but god damn that car is beautiful .... does that belong to hub harness ? .......
Nice job, love these cars, they looked like a custom right off the assembly line. This one looks like it just came out of a 60's Auto-rama. Gary
Not Hub's , or Gloria's for that matter, as far as I know. sure looks like his style now that you said that.
yeah it is really cool .... the www thing just may be a regional thing .... most west coast guys/ uh,,, and ladies run the pinners . while east coast tend to run the www .... but then again i was wrong one other time in my life . haha .....
Very nice car. Hate the tailpipes though. After all that work through the rear woulda made more sense, otherwise an almost hidden turn down. Am I alone in that thought?
Yes I kinda agree, would have looked really sweet frenced out of the roll pan, would have been a nice finishing touch
I really love those things.Heres a local one that the owner brought up from the US -- damn nice cars!
Lownslow, yeah, maybe it would look good with "pinners". I'm just partial to WWW's. Frenz, the "rat pack" mannequins were part of the display. Kinda weird, kinda cool. Debb & Highlander, no doubt the exhaust was a "afterthought". Wow, they dropped that ball! I'm glad ya'll liked the pics. The "fade" paint is gorgeous and my pics are tad overexposed. That blue is outtasight! You just don't see rides like this around here very often. Joel
Joel I LOVE these Rivi's.............I want one SO bad. It's on my list of cars to own before I die........but I am SO with Lownslow on the whites thing. Blech, needs pinners BAD. It's begging for pinners, can't you see the frown on its grille???
Damn, that's right across the street from the guys who built my motorcycle... That is one nice Riv. I've never seen it around the city.
Super swanky ride, Joel! I think the www's look good, but Iagree with Donnie...pinners would be nicer. my 2¢.
