283 with a Saginaw four speed behind it. I have a t-5 from an S10 here, but it mean cutting out the center crossmember and X that I built years ago to set up a mount for it. That and I have an 8" (soon to have Bronco axles) under the back, so finding a rear gear that would be overdrive friendly would be a bit of a pain, so I think that's that.

Over the summer I plan to blow it apart, primer everything black, finish a couple of chassis welds and wire it. I think i'm going to shorten the bed just like 4" or so, too. I'd love to have it rolling for fall when it cools enough to drive a roadster without suffering heat stroke around here.

    Tada!

I didnt build it, but I have taken apart almost every peice of fixed them, or are fixing them.

Whoever originally built it had great knowledge and style, just not the greatest excution.

Only thing I havent taken apart and re-done/fixed is the body from the frame, , the cab wood, the steering, and the front suspension A Arms.

Just picked up a 1930 Coupe. Plan to Hotrod it with a 283/350 maybe an S10 rearend. 3" Chop/3" Channel. Maybe some 55 Chevy parts since I have access to them.

At least that's the plan at the moment.

Sedans are of 2 distinct types, Tudor and Fordor with the Tudor being the most desireable.

  23. Love your choice of colors on your pickup... mine was similar in color as a 60's custom but I redid it in the 70's can you tell?;)

Wonder who'll be the guys that will be the 1928th through the 1931st voters?
