Here's another one with potential: Yes, it's mine and if Jeff doesn't think this post is appropriate it's okay with me to delete it. I'm preparing to move and want to ease the process by selling some of the stuff I've ac***ulated, including this car I bought as a parts car. It's virtually complete - the seats are no good and I don't know if the engine will run or not - with good floors and very little VISIBLE exterior rust. I suspect the outer body has been repaired before I bought it but don't know the extent or quality of the repairs. Good Texas ***le in the previous owner's name. I'd like to get $3500 for it but am open to offers. PM me if interested.
Eric, is that a '52? Flathead or 6, std or A/T? Last time I talked to my brother he was looking for a mid 50s Ford project, not sure yet if he found one. But I will p*** the info along to him. Ron
Yes, Ron, it's a '52, a flathead V8 and an automatic. It's also got rare tinted gl*** and dealer-installed air conditioning...and all the dealer literature that goes along with it. It's a very nice, complete car with very little visible rust but I don't know how much or how well any previous rust may have been repaired. The critical places like the floors, the rear trunk, the inner wells between the trunk floor and the inner quarter panels and the wheel well lips appear to be just fine, but I don't want to give the impression that I've gone over the body carefully for rust. I haven't. I bought it for parts for my blue/white '52 Victoria project (yes, the one with the CHEVY motor!) and the body condition was not all that important to me at the time. I'll do a careful look-see if anybody in this group is interested. Would make a very good project as it is unmolested in every way except exterior bodywork and the addition of dual exhaust. Reasonable cost shipping for non-runners is available through the HAMB-O-Dex. I have more pix I can email to those interested.
