Black 1980 Cadillac S&S Hearse. Stolen from a good friend down in the River Market area sometime between 11:30 last night and 8:00 this morning. This was a very clean car - not out of service for very long and well cared for. Fair assumption is it was taken for a joy ride since it's not the most inconspicuous ride around. Keep your eyes open for anything if you would.

This was his only ride and had bare minimum insurance so he's not too stoked right now. Expect to see this bumped up a couple times before it disappears to the back pages. Thanks.

I'll keep my eyes open here in mid Mo, I drive a truck and I`m right on I-70. Are there any markings on this ride that set it apart from the others?

Let me guess, was it black?
    I'll keep my eyes peeled.

I can't imagine what kind of a person steals a hearse. Why not just steal a limited edition lamborgini with the owner's name painted on the hood? I imagine finding that car won't be too difficult. [IMG]

Well, it is black [IMG]. No real distinguishing marks - blue interior/curtains, the casket rollers and table are all in tact, there is a smallish skeleton in the back window and the eyes light up as a third brake light, stock wheels and caps (caddy caps with the S&S badges in the center). The car is really clean.

My gut feeling is that it will be found. I hope so since it's his daily. Thanks for the help.

Kevin, I will keep my eyes open for a stray one laying/driving around. Does it have MO plates? It is not the flamed one is it?
