Any more information on the "Triad Land" Willys in this set of photos. Is it Al Tschida's car from Minnesota/California or a clone.

  4. It is the real car on its first showing. The car was not owned by Al though he drove it. His brother in law Bill Mitchell owned and also drove it. It still wears it's original Dennis Ricklef paint job from @ 1967. It will also be at the Meltdown Drags in Byron, IL next month

  6. I put this thread on watch and forgot about it, I'm glad it was brought back. As the tile says For The Love, totally Awesome. I love these Car's and am proud to be an owner of one. Thanks for the time everyone has taken to post .

  7. QUOTE="elgringo71, post: 11581967, member: 126056"]I believe that is the original car that was bought recently in Minnesota

I was slow typing, the previous post explains it.

Here is some more information on it.

elgringo, a little trivia for you since you got shots of both sides. The pass side window has Al Tshida's number 331. The driver's side has Bill Mitchell's number 332 done on purpose to give a tip of the cap to both of them

Thanks guys for the information on the Triad Willys. I am originally from Minnesota and Bill Mitchell (RIP) was a friend some years ago. The 55 Chevy gasser in my avatar was owned by Bill and partnered by another friend and myself. Nice to see a piece of history like the Triad Willys still out there!
