    Kiwi Kev,
You are the man. I was hoping that you were going to contribute to this thread. Not only is your willys way cool your garage is to die for. Love seeing pictures of it.

Oh good god. Hahaha. I forgot about that car, you really don't see 31s rodded too often. You don't have any door handles left over, do ya?

Here's a shot of mine. It's been a gasser since 1962. One from this Summer at the Jalopy Drags and another from 1967. Great thread you started here, I love it.

Wow!!! Now that's what I call a period piece. Great to see you've kept it all those years.

  21. Let me know if ya need pistons/rings/pins for the new ride, and I've been meaning to ask ya.., why did you sell the Orange + car? Was it a temporary moment of insanity or something? By the way sometimes I'm
still pissed at you for selling the '56, but since your building another Willys
    I'm getting better.

  23. I sold my Willys in the early 90's to help with the downpayment to buy my house in Ventura. I got the coupe body that I am currently building before I sold it so I knew I could build another one. Along the way my friend Victor became partners and it is almost all mine again.

  24. Have any other pics of that?

Good luck to you Montclaire if that 2nd one is the one your looking for parts for? Good luck to ya!!

  25. Ok, were friends again, I did the same thing in '90, six months later the market went in the toilet and my house was worth $30,000 less. Let me know if ya need any help with engine parts.

Thanks but it wasn't mine back then. I found it in the early 90's, took 8 year to get it on the track and have been racing it the past 7. Wasn't much more than a shell when I got it but the chassis was still in tact. My dad and I restored it to it's 1967 version when Tony Russo won C/Gas at Indy. It's mostly original except for the motor, trans and safety stuff.

Miss Hot Rod Queen, the Willys Home Run is THE BEST Nostalgia Gasser race in the country bar none and it keeps getting better every year. Also THE BEST gathering of Willys, Anglia, Austin & Hery J fanatics anywhere weather street rods or race cars. I was fortunate to win the Nostalgia Gas class in 2005, it's one tough race. It's now all held at the track for 3 days. I missed it once in 17 years, 1998, my son was born that week.

    John,
Thanks for posting pictures of your great little sedan. I love to watch you take it down the track and your right the willys home run is one that we won't miss again. Their saying that next year it will be a 4 days event. That's fine with us.
