    What's happen' guys & dolls?
    I've been pretty busy the last few weeks. Here is a list of what I've accomplished;
    1.) Rad had about 5 large holes in it so I had it rebuilt
    2.) Replaced rad, went for drive, lost brakes; replaced all wheel cylinders, master cylinder rebuild
    3.) Replaced plugs, wires, cap, rotor, points, condenser and coil
    4.) Sand blasted wheels, painted them chrysler engine blue
    5.) Got new 2 1/2" WWW bias
    6.) Removed interior mats to reveal rust from a leaky cowl vent, started s****ing and prepping for paint
    7.) lowered rear end 3"
    8.) Did some quick ghetto vinyl pinstripe scallops
    9.) Fabbed an air cleaner from an old spun aluminum can
    10.) Started dulling rough paint

    Next on the "to-do" list;
    1.) Finish floor
    2.) Re-cover door panels
    3.) Lower front end
    4.) Finish dulling the rough paint
    5.) Drive the ****ing thing!!

    Thanks to everyone who ***isted with all my questions and dilemas. H.A.M.B.ers are by far the greatest group of hot rodders I've had the pleasure to ***ociate with.

    I'm done typing. I'm going for a cruise.

    Geeezzzz...i didn't realize how nice looking those cars are!
    Very formal but clean.
    I'd buy one of those over a lot of other early 50's cars!
    NICE ride.

    Thanks for the replies gents. Facefive, I do plan on an airbag suspension in the near future so it will be on the ground.
    Thanks again and all you NCers we may need to hook up some time soon. HRW is coming up and I plan on being there. Look forward to it.

    you can get that car plenty low without bags. unless you just want 'em. between spring pocket drops and a coil cut from the springs you could take the front down 4-5 inches and it still ride really good and would be cheap to do to. the rear you may have to clearance the tunnel a bit. bags are cool for what they are but i think the money can be better spent. think about it old paint with bags, or nice new shiney paint with a nice stance that it sits that way all the time. i always liked it when a car had a perfect stance sitting still, then you turn as you hear it fire up and it drives away sitting just like that. it's doable, been done for ages...ken....

    i just went thru the process of a huge notch and have bags in the rear. some of my buddies that helped said it might of been easier to channel the rear.
