Technical for those that have done the model A to 39 trans swap. A question.

    What throw out bearing do you use? V8 or model A. seems like it would need the A stuff....Yes, I have emailed the manufacturer. Hoping to get a answer soon.

    I think my problem is I need a v8 clutch diaphragm.

    I cut my model A fly wheel down and used a v8 clutch and throw out bearing

    You do not need the v8 clutch. The stock A pressure plate, disc and all is used. The only thing I found that I needed was the v-8 universal cover "clamb shell", all 3 pieces. I know you are having a problem with the throw out bearing but if you could post a pic, it would help. This was a rather straight forward operation for me so I think your problem is something simple.

    Here is the pic showing where I had to notch the adapter because of the dropped spring.
