There's hardly any snow left here. It actually rained a little over the weekend.

    Good looking truck.
I am wondering if the engine is a tad too far forward?
Looks like the fan is going to be where the radiator should be.
It just may be the angle the picture was taken.

    Shifts & Bones-

I take some details of the frontend in the next day or two. The basic is model A axle with split 34 1.5 ton truck bones. A de-arched reversed eye spring from Posie mounted behind the axle attached with 5 degree perches from TCI. That is all mounted to a 2X4 1/4 inch channel welded below the front cross member looks pretty good.

    Ratster & Kart-

The ****** I am using is a from a early 80s mustang. Aluminum case 4 spd with 4 gear being an overdrive. The were drilled for both a large and small bolt pattern for mounting. So I am using a stock bell housing and a 5/8 inch spacer plate I had machined up to back the transmission up with, because the input shaft is longer than a stock trans by that much. Like the idea of the 4 spd and a overdrive to boot. Had is around from an old project.

The rear is a stock 56 ford rear with limited slip (some speed catalog part from back in the day lock the side gears up) with 3.93 gears.

    JimC-

Ya its a an angle thing and the fact that the front cross member is so wide.. The radiator is about a inch away form the fan just like I like them. The radiator will be sitting inside the shell not to the back edge of the crossmember.
