Had the Edsel in the Suede Room at the Sac Autorama. I was chosen for the Dagmars Trophy Pick. I'll try to post up some pics from those threads when I get some time. Bruce had his Edsel in the club room and that paint is even more amazing in real life. I just stood there and rocked back n forth and watch the light dance through it all. I'll see if I can steal some pics of his, too.
Congrats on the win Drew, buffing that girl out made a big difference. So smooth and silky it's hard not to touch it. Thanks for the comments about my roof. Wait till you see it in the sunlight. I had a photo shoot the next day but it was overcast and didn't please the photographer much. There's a few pictures on a thread I started here "I got a photo shoot".
These pictures were stolen from other threads. I dont remember who took what. If you took it, thank you.

Was reading one of the online car blogs and they had an article on the new Lincoln MKsomething or other. The article was about the new(ish) push button transmission...........The refered to the Chrysler products pushbuttons.......However these were mechanical connections.....The Edsel IIRC were electric as are the latest Lincoln.......There are other variations on this theme as well................
I was bored, My son took few pictures of me Interior pieces are quite ready ! In mid-january my "ELLI" edsel will get new paint !
Too late to revive an old thread? This is Emma. My new '58 Pacer stocker. I like the Aerostar/lowering block stances I've seen in the thread and will probably go down that road soon. First things first... replace Kentucky Fried Teletouch shift motor. Definitely going to look at swapping for a C4 or C6. The Teletouch has been a bit of a nightmare so far.
Love the Edsel since I saw Robert Zemeckis' "Used Cars" with Kurt Russel when I was a kid. There is one here in Denmark that's currently for sale, apparently first owner, being sold because the old man can't drive anymore. Being sold by the daughter or daughter in law, the description sounds like they would give away a dog or a cat. 100% family love. Awesome. Since you post Hot Wheels cars, there you go, two you'll never find anywhere else, it's a Bermuda and a Ranger I built at work out of LEGO blocks. They are 6-7 inches long, and each uses around 200 parts.
my 58 is about ready now ! Trunk is not yet finished, also waiting new sunvisors from MACs now! more pictures: www.edsel.fi/ -> elli 58
