Early bird with Edsel Wagon taillights.......I haven't seen that before. Kinda funky, I don't know whether I like it or not.
I have cool picture of my little girl standing in front of Miss Print's car in Denton, at Pistons and Paint. I will have to dig it up and post it. My daughter wants a pink Edsel, or an old VW bug... I think as a dad, I'm leaning towards the Edsel.
This one's insane!! A Corsiar 4 door hardtop ambulance!! I'd like to know the production number of that one!!!
^^^ I have had that idea........^^^ BUT..... I have always come back to the fact that if I wanted that it may be easier to add bumperettes to a Ford than remove from an Edsel. I am loving that grille though. Looks like a T Bird scoop on the hood, too.
site is for tasteful customs :O) 58 edsels are perfect factory customs, you can paint it mild or wild, lower it, add double antennas, maybe cool hubcaps (if stock ones are not enough) , beyond that point, 58 edsels are usually spoiled??
"This is the front grill from a 1959 Edsel. It has all of its original 3 parts and was mounted on a hardwood plaque with original Edsel letters from the same auto. This award was used by one of the leading IBM sales divisions during the 1960's and '70's. Even though this division was a leading sales division, someone had to be last each quarter, and that person was to post this plaque in a prominant place in their office for that quarter. Stories are told of how guys would work around the clock to avoid this quarterly award." From edsel.com Cold blooded...... cold blooded.
