Just wanted to see pics and projects from anyone that has done them, or has heard of them. Trying to get ideas for my 292 chevy project.
I've seen jimmy's on the older Chevy I-6, don't know if anyone does a kit though. There are a lot of options with centrifical blowers, but wouldn't quite look right Hope someone has some interesting answers, would be open for my 250
There is a guy that hangs out on www.theturboforums.com that has a turbo'd 250. Quite a bit of strangeness on the "builds" section right now in fact.
I have turboed a slant six many years ago (1970s) It worked good and was fun and trouble free. Today i committed myself to installing a roots blower on my Jag six for my new rail. Tomorrow i will begin by mocking up the adapter in plywood and will do most of it that way. Then I will copy and tack it together in Aluminum and have a pro shop weld it up. I am using an Eaton ME90 blower from a late model Buick. Why? It was free! Thats why. Because the Jag 24 v 6 is hard to get hp parts for this may be a real practical way to get some good power without breaking the bank . If it starts to look good I will post pics. We shall see. Don
