Ford - 31 5 window or 34 pick up - Help

Oh man, I've got a dilema. I've been building a 34 ford pickup - chopped 6" channelled 7" over orig. rails with cut down model a box. I just found a 30/31 model a 5 window coupe body thats mint - for sale 4500 canadian!!! Do I sell my 34 project (body, box, frame and 27 study grill shell) to my budy for 4500 to finance the model a transaction??? See the pics and help me out!!!

Just sold a coupe in June. Building a 34 truck now. So nnot no but hell no. You will like the truck so much more.

Really though, I love the truck and would trade my left leg to keep it -- but this coupe is soooo solid -- been in a barn since 62' and is 100% complete - doesn't even need any patch panels (still gas in the gas tank)!!! I've got a set of deuce rails - 34 commercial grill shell and the 425 nailhead (from the pickup) - so the coupe wouldn't be a long build!!! !@#$%^ damn it!!! I'll kick my own *** if I p*** up the coupe, but the pick up is kool!!! ugh

keep the truck, sell everything else you got including plasma at the blood bank, to get the coupe.

 

Wait wait wait. The only logical solution is this one:

Sell the truck to ME!!!!!!!!!!!!! And then buy the coupe for youself.

To me they both sound great. I would solve it the man way....flip a coin.

There has never been a truck built that was as cool as a comprably appointed coupe...

That's why resale will be higher for the coupe.

Ok If the coupe is as nice as you say and you can get a good price for the truck....Are you keeping the engine?

Sell the truck, buy the coupe, and then steal the truck back. Problem solved.

 

I have owned both and the coupe will break even when you decide to offload. Car guys just keep building and collecting. If you could have both there would be no dilema!

Personally I'd keep the truck, but we all know you are gonna have regrets whatever you do. You could consider selling the 32 rails and even the Nailhead (easier to replace than finding another cherry coupe), plus whatever else you can dredge up and then trying to find the rest of the cash to allow you to get the coupe and just store it until you are ready to decide.
