Hello all, I have the opportunity to buy a ford 9” rear end for possibly a decent price ($550.00)? It’s 60” WMS -WMS. It has drilled axles for Chevy 6 lug with new bearings and seals, the drums have been drilled to a Chevy 6 lug pattern as well. I’d like to convert to a disk brake on the axle. I’m not sure what to look for while looking for a brake kit. Seeing as how it’s a ford rear with Chevy bolt pattern? Any suggestions? This will go under a 56chevy truck. I like my wheels, that are 6 lug. Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Oh the things we do to keep the wheels we like. Buy the disc brake kit that matches the rear end and redrill the rotors.
