    Yea the tag reads

    WDX L OB19
    2 47 9 S560

I know is a 2.47:1 ratio, just was curious what it was out of, I thought it was a bronco, but the with that ratio I dont know. By glance I thought it was the 4.5 bolt pattern, but I could have been mistaken.

Do a google search for- Kevinstang's Ford Nine Inch Differential page. It is pretty informative.

    if it has 5-1/2" bolt pattern axles it's a half ton, 5" it's a big car, 4-1/2" it's a midsize car

quick google for "wdx-l" does not turn up anything

V8 cars had the 9", or so I've always heard.

  15. Hollander interchange manual.
Alot of the Granadas and Monarchs with a 351 W had a 9 inch, sonetimes a disc one.

That sounds exactly right 58" is dead on for a granada. A ford part number would tell the tale perfectly.

So, I'm trying to identify the year as well as other info from this 9" that I purchased. Went to fordifacation but couldn't find these numbers.
The gear ratio is 3.00 but other than that I'm in the dark. Any help, I would be appreciative. Thanks 17606340791838482319308688070310.jpg

Squirrel nailed the date, these will clarify. From the 47th edition Hollander which covers 75 thru 85.

    C2SA is 1962 Thunderbird...

(ford part number breakdown: C is 1960s, 2 is specific year, S is the Thunderbird line)

looks like @theHIGHLANDER didn't catch that the thread is 18 years old! and we have a new question to answer
