I just picked up a 9" rear from a '58 Edsel which is 57.250 wide. It has the small 4.5 bolt pattern and drums made out of unobtainium. All my stuff is set up for ford 5.5 patter, and wondered if '66 bronco axles would be the same length. The bronco width is 58" but has a larger brake offset; probably 2 3/8. Where the Edsel I believe has 2" brake offset. Anyone know the bare housing width of the 66-up bronco, or their axle lenghts?

My records show that the 66-77 Bronco 9" width was 58 inches.

Yes, overall length is 58". I am looking for bare housing, and/or axle lengths left and right.

There are cut-to-fit axles for the 9, but they are all 31-spline, as far as I know. They have the later brake offset.
