Anyone know or have any idea if a ford 9" will fit in the above mentioned truck? Will it require any fab and what?

    Thanks,
    Pat

Scroll down and you can find dimensions for the various 9" Fords.

You will probably have to move some spring perches to meet up with your springs and get a bastadr joint to hook up the frive shaft. may even need to shorten the drive shaft if the yolf sticks out farther on the 9" then the IH.

The IH doesn't have an enclosed drive shaft does it? If the Binder has an enclose drive shaft you will need to get an open drive transmission for it.

I have a 3.55 8.8 from a Ford Exploder that is for my 54 R100 project, seems to be about the right width. Pretty easy to find one with a limited slip, 100-150 bucks around here.
