    Hey guys,
I have a question. I drug my 53 victoria home yesterday. When i bought it the guy gave me a 93 302 ho with a aod to go with it. I am not a big fan of that style of fuel injection in older cars. So I am going to put a four barrel on it. Now here is the question. Can I make that aod work without the computer an fuel injection set up? Or I am i better off finding a wirring harness an compter an running the fuel injection?
    Thanks
    Don

93 might be wrong but i dont think that the aod in 93 was an aode, which is electronic. so if you dont want infection on it. put a carb and intake on it , get a tv cable kit from lokar and follow the instuctions closely. you should be good to go.

If there are no plug ins on it, it's a fully hydraulic AOD and will work fine with a carb engine.

You are in luck! the '93 is the last year for the AOD non-computer transmissions and also has the best internal mods to make it live. When you get ready to do the swap send me a pm with your email address and I'll send you some pics of the Lokar linkage installed and some recommendations as to intakes and Carbs that will work best with it.You will want to swap out your existing timing cover for an earlier model with a provision for a manual pump mount also contact Todd(aka ct fortner) here to get the scoop on converting to the early timing chain and eccentric to work with the manual pump.
