COE Ford COE front clip

After considerable effort through networking the older local gentlemen.
I'm going in the morning to look at a couple of COEs. The guy has a 49GMC, 54 Ford, 54 Chevy... I got a price out of him on the Ford, so I know it can be bought. From what I've found on here the cab sounds like it shares a lot of parts with the smaller series trucks except for doors.

Are the fenders, grille, and gl*** compatible with the 1/2 tons or larger trucks like the 2 tons? obviously the hood is different.

Are there any places to get reproduction sheet metal?

Any specific things you guys think I need to look at would be greatly appreciated... I've never seen one of these in real life, but I've been looking for awhile now.

Any help is appreciated, any links to old threads I missed would be great as well.

And there is a picture from another member on cab differences. Not sure which thread that was in but recent. Not much is shared with the smaller standard cab.

 

'54 Ford COE? Doors, fenders, hood and running boards are different than the regular trucks body wise. Quite a few mechanical things are different as well.
Look for rust in all of the body panels! Body parts are hard to find in nice shape.
