ford distributer

i am looking to change a distributer in a ford v-8. i dont know what size it is. the #on the head is c8ah. the dist measure 6" from the oring to the end .can anyone tell me want the engine is

 

This should be on the main board..
What type of car is it in?
C8AE-H is a common casting # for heads on 390 CI V8's
We're going to need a little more info.
If it is a 390, the edge of the intake manifold is under the valve covers.

 

what do you need to know
