    Hey guys...

I found some older Ford EAB 2bbl carbs. I dont know anything about 2bbls, but am looking for something for a tri-power setup.

When did Ford make these and are they worth using?

    Thanks,
    Hyfire

I don't have any late model parts books, but from memory I'd say these are 1952-3 Ford 94's. Look for a "94" on the back...post-1953 versions were slightly larger bore and will have a 1" or bigger size on the back.

My mac's catalog says they were the last of the flathead carbs, 52-3. Worn throttle shaft bores were the only problem I have had with 94's too much va*** leakage. The ones I have seen 8ba and 8rt had that data on a tag as opposed to cast in the bowl
