ford engine ID help

    you know after a nice lunch with an old friend of mine, I;ve decided that FORD_MAN is right f#$% this mess I'm gonna build it from here and see where it takes us. No need for added stress, after all this is hot roddin right? keep you posted thanks- Vic

    Yes, an 85 Bronco with a 302 could have an E0AE block if it is an early production date. Later in the year Ford came out with an E5OE block. There are no E1, E2, E3, E4. The date code that he showed on the block indicated Dec 3 1982 as I stated.

    Ford only changes the casting numbers when a change is made to the part. In the case of the engine block, that can go for a few years and regularly does.
