I'm wondering if anyone can decode this engine ID tag. It was in a box of spares that came with an Intermeccanica Italia that was purchased at RM Auctions in Scottsdale. I figured if any group of people could, it would be this group...

    Thanks!

  2. Its later than a 1959 item as it has no common information that is in my 56-59 Ford Industrial book.

The car is from 1968 but should have a 289 in it. If nothing else, that tag seems to say it's a 351 but they weren't available in 1968, were they? The engine has been rebuilt and I presume this tag was on the engine and that's why it was saved.
