Technical ford f-4 steering box

Is a Ford F-4 steering box the same as a F-1? Thanks, Henry.

F-1 through F-3 have the same box, F-4 through have a bigger box with a larger splined shaft.

Anyone have a comparison photo. Or how can you tell if a truck is a f3 or f4

 

I know f-1 and f-2 are the same , I don't believe f-3 is from my experiance , the bigger box looks almost identical as a f-1 ... It's just enlarged about 25%
