Just wondering if anyone knows what Ford steering wheels will fit the splined shaft of an F1 steering shaft. The really nice appropriate wheels are keyed to a taper like 40 Ford etc. On my roadster I spliced in a keyed shaft but I don't have one to sacrifice for this build. The stock F1 wheel looks to be too large diameter.

I put two shafts together in the lathe to get the shaft end I needed for the correct wheel I wanted to use . I ended up with a later splined shaft , and a Mustang or Fairlane woodgrain wheel . Had the plastic replaced with real teak .
