what if you're a complete freak that decides that you can't pull a motor without removing the entire front clip so as not to mash fenders with that giant pendulum?

Prolly been said and told, FE's Are NOTORIOUS for the rear main leaking. Also replace the small freeze plugs around the rear freeze plug at the back of the cam journal. We always drill and tap them and put threaded plugs in. Also I suggest replacing the small freeze plug where the distributor goes down into the block, it is a major oil gally and if it leaks you will have LITTLE to NO oil pressure.
