The oil filter can be relocated, there are several different factory adapters, but you can easily run a remote, adapters with just in n out fittings are available, so you can put the filter anywhere you want. The filter mounts that get sold for auto trans filters use regular oil filters and have nice mounting flanges, with single or double filters
