    Hello,

I can buy a nice Ford 390 FE 1972 truck block to replace my old and leaky 390 in my '64 Merc.
Is this a direct replacement? Same motor mounts, transmission bolt patern??

    Please let me know.
    Many thanx, Ramon

As i remember it should be double drilled so your motor mounts work. You will need all your goodies(starter flywheel and all) but it should work just fine.
