Will a 52-53 ford fender bolt on to a 54 car? Not worried about grill area just the fender to the body and hood. I already searched and didn't find the answer I was looking for. Thanks.

  2. Not sure if they will fit, ask on the 52-59 Ford Group.
Someone there will know and they don't always check the main board.
    Good luck with the car.

  3. My understanding from a '54 owner I spoke with years ago is that the '54 is a one-year-only fender - the curvature of the top of the fender is different from '52-3. As for attachment points I don't know.

some automotive companies had some bad habits making one year models .... w/ slight changes or major ones ....

would get some photos together and compare to see ...

  5. I can tell you from experience that the 52/53 will bolt up to a '54 Ford but that's were the similarity stops,,there is a slight difference in the crown of the top of the fender between the fencers.

I had to do a lot of work on the replacement right fender of the wagon,,I purchased it thinking it was a '54 and the seller thought the same,in retrospect I would have been better to repair my original fender.

So,yeah it will fit but standing in front of the car and looking at the top of the fenders one will have a more rounded look and the other will have a crown. HRP
