I have two ford flat blocks I plan on building them both. I know I want to build one performance the other I’m thinking of building more of a 40s era Flathead with period correct parts. My questions where is best place to locate parts? Beside eBay or Craigslist

If you are ok with new parts then I have had good experiences with HH Flatheads in California. The do stroker cranks, pistons, various intakes and heads. etc

    Dont forget Van Pelt's
And I believe Charlie at Vintage Speed acquired all the Edmund's rights and is reproducing their products. (Someone correct me if this is bad info)

The first step should be cleaning, magnaflux, and pressure test the blocks for cracks if you have not done it.
For the performance engine a **** rotating ***embly with Ross pistons is a good start.
