Technical Ford flathead 2x1 intake

    Bought this intake a few days ago. Looks like its for two Detroit lubricator carbs Does anybody have any info on it. Thanks

    Good reading on the Fordbarn but this one has not been welded on or messed with.

    Did you get it from that guy on the Barn, Nils? Looks like the same manifold, based on the yard stick in your pics and the pics over there? Neat piece. Wonder what the story is.

    It's the bottom of a 2x2 intake I believe I have a picture I will try and dig up

    First two pics are from the top of intake ports looking down . Last pic is looking up into port. I don't see any welds

    18-6520-R is the Ford part number for the 32 intake manifold in 1935. Ford had a couple of slightly different intakes in 32 and this one looks like the late style, The manifold appears to be nicely welded.
