Block has been degreased and magnafluxed to ensure it was buildable. It has a '59' stamped onto the housing but is a 221. The gentleman I bought it from removed it from a 1940 Ford Pickup. Based on my research I believe this to be a war time replacement block. This may be able to be bored out to standard size. Crank has been turned down to .010 under. Have most of the parts ****tered around my garage including NOS rings. My plan was to simply rebuild it budget style and run it. I will include an engine stand and flathead motor adapter. I went the cheap way with SBC, no haters please. I will say the studs still need removal and many of them will likely need to be drilled out. Had an ofer from machine shop to do that for ~$300. Parts ****tered and boxed all over my garage will not pull it all down until someone comes to look at it. Only parts I am certain I do not have are intake and distributor. Even have the old flywheel.
