I am trying to make my final decision for my 1936 Ford Pickup drivetrain and would like some honest feedback. Leaning towards a Go Cat Speedshop motor, Flat-O-Matic adapter kit, TCI C4 transmission and a 9inch ford rear that comes with the frame/chassis.

The three pedal guys will have a hemorrhage but that setup is well proven and has been in use by a lot of guys for years. It's one of the things I am thinking about for the A V8 that I am gathering pieces for as my wife doesn't row gears very well and she says she intends to drive this one some.

I have a 59 AB flathead with flat-o-matic kit, C-4, and 9" in my 33 Ford PU. Great little setup that runs well. I like it.

    I have an 8BA with a Speedway adapter and a C4.

No issues in nearly five years on the road.
