Technical Ford Flathead - Won't do much more than idle.

Well thanks for everyone’s input. I’m happy to say I was able to drive the car at speed/under load for the first time today.

It was a short test drive because a wire shorted out on the generator and let the smoke out lol but at least now I know the car runs as was advertised.

Ended up finding a fault with the fuel pump, it was leaking through the diaphragm and feeding fuel/pressure out through the rocker arm. I also went through the carbs for the heck of it and found some faults with floats, mismatched power valves and a couple other small items.

Now to get the generator rebuilt, check for vacuum leaks again and tune the dual carbs!
