Ford folks...Galixie help

    A buddies father in law got him self a 66 Galixie with a 390 :) a while back and is getting it ready for the summer...come to find out he needs a radiator:mad: ...Any one know of a resonabe place to get one...either good used or new...

    I think the radiator for my '66 Galaxie came from NAPA. Parts for the later Galaxies aren't all that hard to come by. Mine tended to hold a lot of heat under the hood - a good shroud and electric helper fan did wonders for that car. And if you can't find a "factory" replacement radiator easy enough, measure it and order one with similar dimensions from someone like "Be Cool".

    If you want an aluminum radiator, try Northern instead of BeCool, Griffin or anyone like that, they tend to be cheaper than the other places.

    Crites in Ohio also carries aluminum radiators for the Galaxie, he'll have mounts and a shroud as well.

    I just recieved one that I ordered from radiator_doctor on Ebay, it was for a 65 Mustang ( goin' on My Model A sedan) it was only $115.00 delivered paid Pay-Pal got it the next day. It was made in but Mexico looks good....
