Technical Ford gauge/sender issue

    Fords use a non-linear gauge. I had a long chat with their tech support on an early Mustang. This is what I found )for use with a '69 Mustang tank). With stock fuel gauge you need a non-linear fuel level sending unit. I bought an ISSPRO RA9509-FORD-LP. They are made both linear and non-linear so be sure to specify. To use the sending unit that comes with the tank, you need a new linear gauge. I do like the Isspro floatless sending units, they hold up well to todays fuels.
