Hey folks. The wife kept hinting that I was getting fat and lazy, (Hey Dave! You're getting fat and lazy! Hint, Hint!) and that I needed a hobby. I haven't been around the car stuff for a while but I missed it so I bought an old Ford wagon (67) and built a 427 cid stroker small block engine for it. I built it! I didn't look in a catalog and have it crated up and sent to me parcel post. I didn't have somebody say "Hey! You had aughta do this!" or "If I was you, I'd do that!" , and then do all the work for me. I figured out the kind of power I wanted to make and I hand picked every single nut and bolt and ***embled it myself,.. By hand! :cool:I swear, it made me feel like I was 18 years old again! I am a Katrina refugee living in Oregon now and I just wanted to say "Howdy!" to everyone here. If I somehow manage to piss some of you off, please remember that I don't mean to. I am just enthused about the great automobilia past time and the fact that I am back in it after thirty years.

Welcome Dave. Sounds like you are off to a good start for a fat lazy station wagon owner. I know a few of those too!;)
