Can't tell ya that but, only V-8 applications had the 5 lug pattern. I had a V-8 72 Grabber I bought new. No 15" wheels were offered and the limited slip differential was available as a dealer installed option.
This is incorrect !! Some of the six cylinder models with the optional 250 ci six cylinder also came with the 5 lug wheel bolt pattern. The Mercury Comet of the same years as a Maverick also had the 5 lug wheel pattern IF they had the 250 ci 6 cylinder engine.
Did not notice a drain plug?? How do do drain out the nasty oil? Do I fill it up with the "vent" tube looking stub? Any ideas on which supplier is cost effective with the ebrake adapter to fit this rear end?
some 8" housings had drain and fill plugs, some had only drain and the stump had fill plugs. from experience check!! or you end up adding a filler after it is painted!
Draining can be a problem when no lug is provided. Pull the axles, remove the third member....clean everything up....re***emble. If you are ambitious, weld a bung or nut from an old oil pan into the bottom for future draining ease. As for filling....there should be a filler plug on the side of the third member casting. Ray
Hey NHMikel, On my '40 Coupe, I had ran a set of Dodge van wheels on the back. They were 15x7, with a 5x4 1/2 bolt circle. I ran a set of JC Whitney baby moons on them. The backspacing was 3 3/4.
front wheel drive cars, my company 99 Lumina can run crown vic wheels, my 03 buick ultra same thing, check them out 4.53" 115mm

Yup. Found this out the hard way, when doing a last-minute quick pumpkin swap on my bosses' car for a Ventura run. It got filled through the vent tube, via a pump. Oosp.
