1959 Ford O Matic 2 speed automatic transmission. I just pulled it out of my 59 Ranchero and it is ready for a new home. She’s got two speeds and she uses ‘em all! This unit works and shifts just fine. However it has popped out of D under hard acceleration, instead of kicking down to 1st gear. I’m pretty sure it’s because I had the kickdown linkage disconnected. 1st gear and regular driving have been trouble free since I’ve owned it. Yes it leaks. You can have the flexplate too.
