Ford Pickup Tailgate Question

Does anyone know if a tailgate off a '35 pickup (with Ford Script) will fit a '34 without huge modifications?

My pal Dave used one on his 32 so I would think it would work on a 34. HRP

 

I have seen a 36 on a 32

 

Bruce Horkey's web site shows 1931 through 1937 as the same part number
