I found a quality audited sheet in my 1960 2dr Wagon. It says this vehicle is a product of Ford's Quality Audit System it has a cool seal. The sheet goes on telling about the audit "Ford's Quality Audit,an exacting post-graduate examination,is given to a scientifically selected sample of vehicles after they come off the ***embly line."The audit team checked 16,000 parts does the Falcon have 16,000 parts? The Ford Pilot Plant, only one in the industry and another vital part of Ford's Quality program, goes into action months before production of a new model. At this plant, all types of vehicles are built in advance of regular production in order that component parts and ***embly techniques can be tried and proved to the most rigid quality standards it goes on telling more about the audit..It has a vehicle serial number OK21S172832. Does anybody know about these audit teams or Pilot Plant any info would help.Veach
