ford shoeboxes,lets see them ! 49-51

Heres my 50.

 

55 Chevy is considered a shoebox.

 

People who are correct believe that shoeboxes are 49-51 Fords. People who are incorrect believe that 55-57 Chevys are shoeboxes. I obviously have no opinion either way.

It is very common to hear a 55 being referred to as a shoebox. I think Tex Smith pretty much solidified the 49-51 Ford as THE shoebox.

 

I couldnt understand some people refering to a 49-52 Chevie,why they are much prettier than same period Fords that DO really look like a box lol

Here is mine. 51 Tudor. This shot taken about 1 year ago. Car is now in the garage & making some forward progress.
