Can anyone tell me what the dimentions are for 35-36 ford spindles?

I have the Speedway charts for 37-41 and 42-48 Ford spindles, but I have not been able to find any info on 35-36 spindles.

I am interested to see if the 35-36 spindles will fit on a 37-41 axle and if the aftermarket Speedway brake kits will fit the 35-36 spindles.

35 spindles are different from 36 spindles and no one makes a disc brake adapter to fit those spindles yet. Most all kits are made to fit 37-48 size spindles.

  4. those look like '35's. '36 has the same length snout as the '37-up, but the narrow backing plate pattern of the '35

yes, those spindles will fit on any '28 to '48 axle. Ya gotta have the right kingpins though, and they're not $35 like the '37-'41 and '42-'48.

I don't know of any disc brake kits for that spindle.

We are actually designing a disk brake kit to use these earlier spindles (ok have actually finished design and are starting to cut to bring to market). If interested, pm me for details.

There are also slight differences in steering arms '35 and 6--they look same, but actually everything but brake flange is different, so make sure you have a pair.
