ford steelie interchange?

quick question,

would the rear, or front for that matter, 15 inch steelies on a 56 ish ford. be the same as on a 50?

iv got one odd rim and a buddys got a 56 for parts that if the rim looks the same and is the same deminsions i can just have it.
