Ford straight 144ci mods

I have an 85hp straight 144 in a 61 falcon. What would be the cheapest route to 200-300 horses. Sell the old engine and get a 289 or what? I would like to keep a straight six but I need more umph.

Get a yellow terra head off a 186" holden 6 and turn it back the front and then you will be a lot better off. I've been told by the old timers that this was the job to up the HP heaps.

It get rid of the **** ports that you can't do anything with.
