I have a '34 pickup and figured I could use this and cut it down. Anyone know what its off of? or how much its worth.

How tall is it? It does look kinda tall so my guess is it's Ford 3/4 ton 1950s or 60's.

Tailgates didn't change a heck of a lot from the mid 50's to the step side of the 70's other than the 1/2 ton tailgate is shorter than a 3/4 ton version.
A measuring tape would tell you whether it's 1/2 or 3/4 ton.

.ps, they aren't worth a heck of a lot as you can buy decent reproductions which means you don't have anything especially rare or hard to find, so start choppin.

Its dimensions are 19" by 50" if that helps.

19"? I think that is the 1/2 ton version....

Macs catalogue lists that tailgate (FORD script) as being 1953 to 1972 but I'm pretty sure that it's all the same up to '79
