So... first thing I did was a search... the threads I found... no one gave an answer...so here goes..

I have 2 TRD flathead powered trucks... 1934 and 1951... the 34 starts easy, and throttles smooth... the 51. hard to start... and rumbles when you throttle it...I never run champions in fords... , but... decided... maybe the 51 just needs new plugs,,,, pull one out...the dreaded champions...the plug is a h10g...??? whatt puzzeled me was it's a short reach plug... all my bangers use a long reach plug....and I did find where someone mention that here... but got no answer...I ordered the NKG B6L, pretty sure it's a long reach....and of the searching I've done, the most recommended plug is the NKG....so... my question...why the short reach>??? and will the NKG's be too long????and one more thing... can't really tell if the champion is H10G or C

so,... just to know.... I pulled a plug on the 34... needed a 7/8 plug wrench... and it was also a champion... D18??? I believe.... but it also was short reach...

what started all this was the needle and seat on the carburetor kept sticking and flooding the motor... pretty sure it fuel fouled the plugs...

Maybe these are a good choice:

Just kidding:oops: Saw these at Hershey last fall.

I’ve run Champions, Autolites and believe it or not, I have a set of ACs that came on a really smooth 8BA that I don’t plan on changing anytime soon.

All I run are Champion H10 and H10C in my 8BA’s and never had issues with them.

Or Autolite 216's. Run them and Champion H10's in my 8ba also with no issues what so ever.
