Ford winshield trim

I have a 1957 ford fairlane 500. trying to get the stainless off so I can paint her. Was wondering if any body knows how to get the upper windshield stainless off. I got the sides off and I know the lower is pinched between the body and the gl***. Need to get it off but dont want to destroy it

 

There is a reason they're called FNGs. Now cue the greeters.
