Thought maybe someone could save us allot of time, money and cuss'in if you've installed a hydraulic throw out bearing in a Y block with T-5 mustang trans? Any part numbers would be appreciated! Second choice is slave set up I guess. Thanks!

Third choice throw the hydraulic set up in the garbage where it belongs and build a proper mechanical linkage. If you have room for hydraulic you have room for mechanical. If you still insist on using hydraulic go with the slave and throw out arm at least then the leak will be on the outside where you can fix it over and over without having to pull the trans every time. I don't mean to sound so negative but I build hot rods for a living and have retrofitted many with mechanical linkage after the owner was fed up with the hydraulic set up.

What are you putting the engine and trans in? There should be a place on the bell housing or block for a pivot ball and the frame is where the other pivot ball go's. are you using under the floor pedals or hanging pedals? What ever you do, don't use the Ram clutches internal release bearing and slave as they are poorly made and will leak around the threads where the line screws in no matter how hard you tighten it.
I hope this helps save you some head aches, Jim Ford
